ragesagainsttheoddsRen speaks a colloquial form of English found in a region of the North East, often known as Geordie. She uses a lot of slang terms and also uses a lot of Garou (werewolf) terminology as well. I've put some of the more common terms in here for your reference.

Werewolf Terms
Garou - Werewolf
Fianna/Fionn - The cultural tribe that Ren comes from. 'Celtic' werewolves who firmly believe in the extremes of fighting a good fight, drinking a good drink and enjoying yourself while you can. They hold fast to the virtues of Courage, Hospitality and Glory.
The Litany - A set of rules that all werewolves in he Garou nation agreed to abide by.
Ahroun - Class of werewolf born under the full moon. Known as warriors
Galliard - Class of werewolf born under a waxing moon. Known as bards.
Philodox - Class of werewolf born under half moon. Judges/Lawmakers/Common sense units.
Theurge - Class of werewolf born under the crescent moon. Known as druids.
Ragabash - Class of werewolf born under the new moon. Known to be tricksters and scouts.
Bawn - Boundry area of land around a Caern
Caern - A sacred place; a meting spot where the Garou connect to the spirit world
Sept - The group of Garou that maintain the Caern and protect it.
Gaia - The Earth. Refers to the physical land and the more spiritual sense of the Mother Goddess that the Garou support.
Kin/Kinfolk - Family members of Garou who are aware of the existence of werewolves. Normally considered to be exempt of the rules of the Veil.
Mate - The current life partner of a Garou
The Veil - The poetic term for the false assumption that humans of Ren's world are kept in that the supernatural does not exist. The Veil must always be maintained.
Moot - A gathering or celebration of Garou that takes place at a caern
Pack - A group of Garou bound together by choice and under the assistance of their totem.
Totem - A spirit ajoined to the pack that represents their values and mission.
Alpha - Leader of a pack
Metis - A werewolf born from the union of two werewolves - very frowned upon and usually grow up experiencing great difficulty.
Homis - A werewolf born to a human mother
Lupus - A werewolf born to a wolf mother
Geordie Slang/Colloquialism
Us/We - Ren tends to use this interchangeably instead of I/Me. "We went to the park/I went to the park." "Stop lookin' at us. Stop looking at me."
Canny - Good, Pretty, Enjoyable
Hadaway - Pack it in (or) I don't believe you
Aye - Yes
The Toon - Newcastle (Location in the North East) (or) closest large city
Gannin' - Going
Drink - Usually an alcoholic beverage
On the Lash - Going out to drink
