Ren - This is likely unnecessary advice, if your sudden sickness is, as rumoured, food poisoning. However, I cannot help but find the timing suspicious, as well as the lack of other victims. Perhaps it is because I have spent too long entangled in games far more complex and dangerous than this one, and now see too many possible threats in even the smallest of shadows.

Still, I will say it: please, be vigilant of what you eat or drink moving forward, who it has been prepared by, and whose hands it has passed through before yours. At the very least, doing so will protect you from careless chefs; at the worst, it will protect you from targeted malevolence.

magic DEFINITELY involved. put out the altar on the fire - table has carvings in runes on them (that's what it looked like to me). fire damaged it too badly to be able to make sense of it tho. trail of dog-sized paw prints behind the altar (they burn to touch and were bright red - magic as well, I think)

edges of his neck wound were jagged instead of clean, suggests superstrength or a really strong guy. wound was cauterised as well. someone took his hair as well.

He had a wire wrapped around his neck, and it looked like he'd been dragged around before being choked to death. There was a note left on him that said 'CORPSE FUCKER'. No one could get much else from the note, but there was blood splattered outside, and footprints that matched both Adrian and Saber.

We think Adrian was killed before and by saber.
