CHARACTER NAME: Ren Rages-Against-The-Odds O'Neill

CANON POINT: A few months after passing her Fostern rank challenge.
ABILITIES: Ren is a werewolf! She has four years of experience under her belt and the following abilities
Shapeshifting - Ren can transform herself from human (homid) to wolf (lupus) to sterotypical werewolf (crinos). There are inbetweeny forms such as teen wolf (glabro) and direwolf (hispo). She can change at will but also may be forced to shift if her rage gets the better of her.
Martial Arts - Ren is an ahroun (warrior) among her people and prides herself on her grappling and martial arts abilities. She's been training with her family since she was a girl and is the first to throw a punch in most situations. She uses the excuse of moving to Denver to train in mixed martial arts to cover up for moving to join her new werewolf group.
Supernatural Strength, Speed and Healing - Ren is far stronger than your average human, being able to easily lift 600lbs even when in her human form. She can outrun most professional athletes and heal from injuries far quicker than a human.
Gifts from Gaia - Garou like Ren gain mystical gifts from Mother Gaia. Ren's gifts allow her to:
Hares Leap - Jump really high
Razor Claws - Sharpen her claws on rocks so they are more lethal
City Running - Parkour baby, Ren can scale buildings as easily as she can walking on the ground
Persuasion - Ren can convince people into seeing her point of view by inflicting a bit of social pressure
Brew - Make booze from water, sometimes it's good, most of the time it's not
Loyal Defender - Promise not to hurt her packmates if she loses control of her rage and turns on them
Fair Fortune - Sometimes, Ren can just choose to be lucky
Flame Dancer - Jump out of the way of certain harm
Spiritual Connection - Garou are spiritual warriors and work closely with the spirit world to defend Gaia. Ren is connected to her pack's resident spirit Coyote (Chico) and her tribe's guardian spirit Stag. Garou can slip into a secondary plane called the Umbra that is full of spirits but Ren will not easily be able to do this in Saltburn due to her being really bad at passing through the gauntlet by herself.

Ren is solidly upper middle-class and has never experienced struggles with money. Her mother is a veterinarian with her own practice who brought in a solid wage and as a child she lived in an inherited farmhouse with acres of land attached. Her family have generational wealth from some questionable accounting and tax avoidance - as is tradition with Garou families who live on the outskirts of polite society. They do just enough to not get audited by HMRC and hide the money they have under the mattress.
She grew up under the incorrect belief that they had a very normal - if not poorer - quality of living when compared with the average person due to her ignorance about money. In her mind, because they didn't have brand new things and lived in the North East of England that probably meant they weren't well off. Those things were mostly antiques and family heirlooms.
Her family still support her financially.

Ren is not intelligent enough to attend university or college. If she was made to attend, it would have to be a sports studies major.

Undergoing her first change at seventeen and almost killing her younger brother in a rage, only to be congratulated once she was snapped out of it. Her family held a party shortly after while her brother was whisked away to hospital. It totally wasn't deeply traumatising.
